The Circle of Good Fortune
Ninety-nine red koi swim in one endless circle in this hand-embroidered Suzhou silk artwork. In Chinese tradition, red is the colour of good luck, the circle stands for family unity and prosperity, and ninety-nine koi carry the wish of enduring longevity and lasting happiness — a blessing for the whole family, stitched thread by thread.
